For the next few days we stayed in E's Uncle's chalet in Saas Grund, which is a stupidly pretty little village with views of giants, including the
Allalinhorn at 4,027m and the
Dom at 4,545m. Very few tourists around.

| But this was the view that the kids cared about. A working digger out the window could probably only be improved by also having a crane and regular visits from a garbage truck. |
