We went to the
local Buddhist temple's Obon Odori festival on the weekend. It was a fun community event of impressive scale for a local church, but they have been doing it for something like 60 years, so it is a well oiled machine. The Taiko drumming concert was great, and the kids (well, E at least) had a lot of fun at the sideshow games.

The sideshow games basically all involved throwing money at things. |
